Recurring emotional patterns
Explore reactions that may feel automatic, disproportionate, familiar, or difficult to shift through insight alone.
90-minute specialty session • $250 self-pay
Maybe you already know why you react the way you do.
You can explain the pattern.
You may understand where it began.
You may even know what you “should” think or do differently.
And still, something deeper continues to pull you back into the same emotional response, belief, relationship pattern, or way of relating to yourself.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy offers a focused way to slow down, turn inward, and explore what may sit beneath the intellectual understanding.
The goal is not to erase your past or force you to become someone different.
It is to create space for deeper awareness, emotional insight, compassion, and a different relationship with the patterns you have been carrying.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy combines focused attention, guided relaxation, imagery, emotional exploration, and reflective integration.
Rather than staying only at the level of conscious analysis, the process invites you to notice what arises when the usual problem-solving mind becomes quieter.
That may include:
You remain an active participant throughout the process.
Hypnotherapy is not about giving up control.
It is a collaborative experience in which your awareness is focused inward while you remain able to communicate, make choices, and stop at any time.
Insight matters.
Understanding your history, recognizing your triggers, learning coping skills, and becoming aware of your patterns can all be valuable.
But sometimes a person reaches a point where they can explain the pattern very clearly and still feels caught inside it.
“I know why I do this.”
“I know I am safe now.”
“I know I do not have to keep pleasing everyone.”
“I know I should trust myself.”
“I know this belief does not make sense anymore.”
And yet the emotional response remains.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy creates an opportunity to explore the experience beneath the explanation.
Rather than asking only, “Why do I do this?” the work may become:
“What part of me still believes this is necessary?”
“What did I learn about myself when this pattern began?”
“What has this response been trying to protect?”
“What does this part of me need now?”
“What becomes possible when I relate to this differently?”
These are examples of questions that may support exploration. Not every session follows the same path.
You understand a recurring pattern intellectually but want to explore it more deeply.
You notice that certain reactions feel stronger than the present situation seems to explain.
You want to explore beliefs or emotional conclusions that may have formed earlier in life.
You have difficulty accessing feelings through conversation alone.
You are curious about inner-child or parts-oriented exploration.
You want a focused experience that allows more time to slow down and follow what emerges.
You are interested in guided imagery, subconscious pattern exploration, meaning, identity, or inner wisdom.
You want something deeper than advice or another list of coping skills.
You are comfortable approaching the process with curiosity rather than expecting a guaranteed result.
Many people wonder whether hypnosis means being unconscious, asleep, or out of control.
That is not how this work is approached.
You are generally aware of what is happening and able to communicate throughout the session.
The experience may feel similar to becoming deeply absorbed in a book, meditation, memory, daydream, or guided imagery exercise—your attention becomes more focused inward while the outside environment becomes less important.
You may feel deeply relaxed.
You may also feel emotionally engaged.
Some people experience vivid imagery.
Others experience thoughts, memories, sensations, emotions, words, or a simple sense of knowing.
There is no single “correct” way to experience hypnosis.
You do not need to be especially suggestible, visual, spiritual, or experienced with meditation to participate.
Hypnotherapy is collaborative.
You do not surrender your judgment, values, or ability to make choices.
The purpose is not to override your conscious mind.
It is to create enough focused inward attention that you may notice material that is harder to access during ordinary conversation.
Explore reactions that may feel automatic, disproportionate, familiar, or difficult to shift through insight alone.
Notice beliefs about yourself, relationships, safety, worth, responsibility, belonging, or what you believe you must do in order to be loved or accepted.
Become curious about behaviors or emotional responses that may have developed for understandable reasons even if they no longer serve you in the same way.
Explore earlier emotional experiences or younger parts of yourself when they naturally arise in the process. Memories are approached with care and are not assumed to be historically accurate simply because they arise during hypnosis.
Explore the difference between who you learned to be and what feels authentic to you now.
Make room for losses, changing roles, identity shifts, and questions about meaning or what comes next.
Sessions may also involve accessing supportive imagery, compassion, perspective, values, or a stronger sense of internal support.
The 90-minute format allows enough time to settle into the work without rushing the experience.
A session may include:
We begin by talking about what you would like to explore, what has been happening, and what would feel meaningful to understand more deeply.
We discuss the process, answer questions, and establish ways to communicate, pause, or stop during the session.
You are guided into a more inwardly focused state using relaxation, imagery, breath, or other appropriate methods.
We follow what emerges with curiosity. This may include emotions, imagery, memories, beliefs, body sensations, younger parts, protective responses, or inner resources.
We leave time to return fully to ordinary awareness, reflect on the experience, and consider what feels important to carry forward.
The process is individualized.
Not every session unfolds in the same way.
Curious whether this approach fits what you’re looking for?
Ask About HypnotherapyHypnotherapy often benefits from more spacious pacing than a standard appointment.
The additional time allows us to talk before the experiential portion, settle into focused inward attention without rushing, follow the material that arises, and leave adequate time for grounding and reflection afterward.
The 90-minute structure is intentional.
It is not simply a longer conversation.

No.
Some people experience hypnotherapy primarily as psychological and emotional exploration.
Others naturally connect the work with intuition, spirituality, meaning, or a sense of something larger.
There is room for those dimensions when they matter to you.
They are never required.
The process is client-led and will not impose spiritual, religious, metaphysical, or past-life interpretations on your experience.
Clear expectations help the experience feel safer and more grounded. Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is not:
Some people choose a single session focused on a particular question, pattern, or area of exploration.
Others find that additional sessions are useful as new layers of the work become clearer.
There is no requirement to purchase a package.
We can discuss what makes sense based on your goals and how you experience the first session.
Self-pay specialty service

Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is a self-pay specialty service and is not billed to insurance.
The 90-minute format provides time for preparation, focused experiential work, and integration without rushing the process.
Sessions are offered through Realize Your Path in Fairview Park, Ohio.
There is no required package.
If you are unsure whether hypnotherapy or psychotherapy is the better fit, you are welcome to ask before scheduling.
You can also review the current service fees on the pricing page.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is not the right service for every concern.
If you are primarily seeking evaluation or treatment for a mental health condition, ongoing behavioral health treatment, crisis support, or care that may be eligible for insurance coverage, psychotherapy may be the more appropriate pathway.
Realize Your Path offers psychotherapy separately.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is offered here as a separate self-pay specialty service and is not psychotherapy unless it is explicitly being incorporated into an established psychotherapy treatment plan.
No. Hypnosis is generally a state of focused inward attention rather than unconsciousness. You remain able to communicate, make choices, and stop the process.
No. Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is collaborative. You retain your judgment and ability to choose throughout the session.
People experience focused inward attention differently. You do not need to achieve a particular depth of trance or have a dramatic experience for the session to be meaningful. We work with the way your attention and inner experience naturally respond.
Most people remain aware of the session and remember much or all of what occurred. Experiences vary, and hypnosis is not used as a method for guaranteeing accurate memory recall.
No technique can guarantee that a memory that arises during hypnosis is historically accurate. Imagery, memories, emotions, or impressions that emerge are approached as material to explore rather than automatically treated as factual evidence.
No. You are not required to explore anything you do not want to explore. We establish communication and choice throughout the process, and you can pause or stop at any time.
Hypnotherapy techniques may sometimes be incorporated into psychotherapy as one part of a broader treatment process. A dedicated Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy session is different: the 90-minute appointment is intentionally structured around focused hypnotherapeutic and experiential work, with additional time for preparation, exploration, and integration.
Dedicated Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy sessions are $250 for 90 minutes and are self-pay.
When hypnotherapy techniques are used as part of a clinically appropriate psychotherapy session, the service being provided and billed is psychotherapy, subject to the client’s insurance benefits and coverage.
Dedicated 90-minute Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy sessions are a separate self-pay service and are not billed to insurance.
A 90-minute Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy session is $250.
Not necessarily. Some people choose one focused session, while others decide that additional sessions would be useful. There is no required package.
No. Spirituality, intuition, meaning, or existential questions can be included when they are meaningful to you, but they are never required.
90 minutes • $250 self-pay
If you understand the pattern but still feel that something deeper is asking for attention, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy can offer a focused space to slow down, listen inward, and become curious about what is beneath the familiar story.
You do not have to know exactly what will emerge.
You only need enough curiosity to begin.
